So I've finally done it. I've started selling my knitting...
I have made a variety of things: baby and toddler blankets, adult blankets, baby sweaters and bonnets, baby hats and booties, baby mittens, kid's mittens, adult hats, and adult scarves.
The baby/toddler blankets take at least 2 months to make. Baby sweater and bonnet sets take at least 2 weeks. All hats, booties and mittens can be made in about a day or two. Adult scarves take at least 2 weeks. The adult-sized blankets require at least 4 months to make.
I have several blankets in stock, and I have posted these pictures here. If you don't find something that is already available, you may place a custom order. I can do any color that is sold at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Just specify the color and pattern you want and I will add it to my custom order list. The projects will be completed in the order that they are received.
Pricing varies depending on time spent, pattern difficulty, one color versus multiple colors used, and yarn cost. Some types of yarn are more expensive than others. I'm not even making a penny an hour on this, but it's a hobby that I love doing. Making my finished projects available for others to enjoy is rewarding.
Here are the base prices:
Baby Hats: $5
Adult Hats: $7
Kid Mittens: $10
Baby Mittens: $5
Booties: $5
Scarves: $20 for one color; $30 for more than one color
Sweater and Bonnet or Hat: $25
Baby blankets: $40 - $50
Toddler blankets: $50 - $60
Adult Single Throws: $100
Adult Full & Queen Size Blankets: $200 - $250
Shipping and handling charges will be added to the final order price.
